Processing Berlin
processingberlin
What
Processing Berlin is an initiative started to establish a regularly meeting in Berlin for everybody who is interested in creative coding, generative art and design, designing with code or just programming. We are starting off with a monthly meeting and invite you to join us. Processing Berlin is the right place if you want to share some of your latest projects and ideas, look out for collaborators, ask for help or just want to talk with like-minded people and to get to know each other a bit better. Beside the regular meeting and depending on the interest we would also like to take the chance and expand the idea of processing Berlin and start to plan a 2-3 day event including some workshops and exhibitions later this year.

Processing Cities
Similar to »Processing Berlin« there is also »Processing Paris« which was initiated by Mark Webster. The first edition of Processing Paris already took place in April 2010 and they have just finished their second edition. You can read more about their activities on their website.

http://www.processingparis.org

Processing Berlin and Processing Paris share the same activities and goals and would like to encourage other people to take up similar initiatives. If you would like to organize a similar series of events in your town or city, we would love to hear from you and help you in getting the word around. We simply ask you to keep the »Processing (name of city/town)« formula.
Who
As mentioned above, our meeting is open for everybody who is interested in creative coding and loves to tinker with code and design. It doesn’t matter if you are using processing, openFrameworks, vvvv or any other programming language as well as it doesn’t matter if you have no experience, are an intermediate or even a professional programmer.
When/Where
Processing Berlin normally take place the second Thursday of the month. As we are planning some changes the date for our next meeting is not clear yet.

There is no meeting in April!
